No Arduino found

I'm attempting to install my first Arduino UNO. When I plug in the board (and I've tried 4 of them) all I get is an unknown device called USB2. I see Arduino board as all the tutorials tell me I should be seeing. Plus I can't get Windows 7 to install any drivers, all I get there is No drivers found.

I used to be computer literate, but at 66 years of age I seem to be falling behind. I've installed possibly hundreds of drivers in the past 20 years but this one has me beat. Perhaps I should find a schoolboy to install it for me

Thank you, in advance.

Have a look at the chip that is closest to the USB port on the Arduino and let me know what is written on them. To do this you will probably need a magnifying glass. Properly identifying the chip will allow me to guide you to drivers that should work for your board.
