No hardware wizard on windows

I'm having trouble with my new Arduino Diecimila. I've been following the instructions on the getting started guide with no luck. When I plug in, the power led lights up and the LED that I attached between 13 and GND blinks. On windows, the hardware wizard doesn't appear, though. I tried it on my mac, and I couldn't find a serial port with a name like tty.usbserial. Anyone know what might cause this? Thanks.

Did you install the FTDI usb drivers on the Mac? Do you see anything in the Tools > Serial Port menu?

Yep, I installed the drivers. In the Tools > Serial Port menu I see lots of bluetooth stuff (even with bluetooth turned off). More specifically, I see:

/dev/tty.MotorolaPhone-DialupNet-1
/dev/cu.MotorolaPhone-DialupNet-1
/dev/tty.MotorolaSLVR-DialupNetw-1
/dev/cu.MotorolaSLVR-DialupNetw-1
/dev/tty.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync
/dev/tty.Bluetooth-Modem
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-Modem
/dev/tty.MotorolaPhone-DialupNet-2
/dev/cu.MotorolaPhone-DialupNet-2

Hmm... it's possible there's something wrong with the board. You might try to get it replaced.
