No life in this Robot

I just purchased a Arduino Robot for use in my classroom and I excitedly went through the initial steps in setting it up at school. I got to see it boot up and input my name and the robot's name, then I just shut it down.

When I got home I plugged it in to charge it for 3 hours and then went to boot it up to play with it after dinner and I just had a blank screen on the LCD

I have absolutely no idea where to start to fix it.

Thoughts?

If you don't have one, get a multimeter to troubleshoot possible power supply issues.

The LCD that shipped with my robot was defective, I had to wiggle the actual display around on the display's board and tape it down in a certain position. As directed by arduino support :roll_eyes:
