"no sync" problem...

yesterday i got the "no sync" message from the arduino software when trying to upload something, after reading virtually all internet, i came with the most unespected solution:

i started the upload, when the led number 13 blinked i disconnected and reconnected the serial cable and as a miracle it startet the comunication protocol tx and rx as usual.....

hope it helps, but i think it is not the best way to solve the problem............. first must try all the recomendations given to solve comm problems...

but it worked!!!! ;D

wow how old are you :o

You could also try pressing the reset button at that point. It sounds like your auto reset circuit has gone.

Are you using the new snow leopard Mac OS with a silicon labs USB bridge? While the bulk of the driver works the auto reset bit doesn't.

I reconnected the usb cable and uploaded a program directly.
