NO WORKING MOTOR

Hi everyone, I have an Arduino Uno and I'm trying to move a motor. When I connected the motor to the 6 pin it did not work (and there is not sound), but when I connected to a led it worked so the problem is not on the code. And when I connect the 5v or 3.3v pin to the motor, it works :astonished: !!!! Can someone help me?

Well, the motor is probably OK, which more than you can say for pin 6. Never, ever connect a motor directly to an Arduino I/O pin.

AWOL: Never, ever connect a motor directly to an Arduino I/O pin.

Have a look at this

Max safe output current from an Arduino pin about 0.04A Current needed by a motor probably 0.2 to 2A (depending on size).

Motors are about power, logic signals are not.

Its a bit like trying to move a lorry using just pedal power!
