Non-contact speed measurement and visual display

Hi everyone,

My first post of the forum, so apologies if I miss out any key information.

Originally got into Arduino at the beginning of this year with some good success, however, I have tried to push myself for a complex idea which I'm unable to complete and therefore require someone to assist with completion of the project to which i'm happy to pay for anyone's help, rather than following random snippets of websites

I would like to create a device that will measure the non contact speed of an object and display visually within an interface rather than just output measurements stats.

Please feel free to get in touch if you feel like this is something that you can assist with.

Thanks in advance
Simon

You will eventually need to provide much more information for anyone to even start to develop a program. What kind of motion (linear, circular)? Speed (min, max, units)? Object size, material? Can something be attached to the object? Environment? Interface (display) description? No one can say that they can do what you want and what it might cost until they know what you want.

Hi SimoGolf,

What exactly are you trying to measure?

From your handle, I'd guess either a golf ball or a golf club.

Can you provide more detail on your project?

Pat.
