Non-latching hall effect sensor

Hello guys,
I would like to ask about the non-latching hall effect sensor.
I'm going to buy AH1815, is it non-latch(switch) sensor, that goes HIGH when a magnetic pole is detected (doesn't matter if South or North) ? and goes LOW when the magnet field leaves ?

It would be great to understand it before buying it.

Thank you very much

What does the data sheet say?

That switch is open drain, meaning that it needs a pull-up resistor to work*. It will read high with no magnet and low with a magnet near.

*The internal pullup can be used.
