Nondescriptive Compiler Issue

Hi all,

I'm running version 0012 of the IDE on Ubuntu 8.10 x64.

Any time I try to compile, the status bar turns brown and I get a number of newlines appended to the output, but no actual information. The compilation process itself is a bust -- there's no output file. I know it's at least making it to the preprocessor, as I get an error if I try to include a nonexistent header, so it's getting somewhere.

I'm curious as to what's actually executed during the compilation process. My hope is to actually try to run through the process by hand to see where the failure is and get some useful output as to what's causing it.

Thanks!

Sounds like you want to find out about setting build.verbose=true in preferences.txt.
