NOOB cant get 5v relay to work

Hey folks.

Just introducing myself to some signal flow principals and I’ve hit an unexpected wall.

I have a 5v relay connected to my arduino uno but I cant get the relay to trip. AKAIK it is connected correctly…

ON/OFF seq is sending a high low to pin 7 which is controlling the VCC pin on the relay, 5v is controlling the in and ground to ground. The onboard LED is tripping with the power cycle but the relay isn’t triggering and breaking / completing the circuit.

I thought initially id somehow bought a 12v by mistake but ive gone back and confirmed its a 5v. Ive tried 3 different relays out of my 5 pack, and none of them are . “turning over” so to speak.

Photo of the relay is below.

Connect VCC to 5volt and GND to GND.
Then control the relay IN with an output pin.

Post the code (don't forget the code tags), and a picture of the setup.
Leo..

Follow Wawa’s advise in #1 and know that those relays are active low inputs. The relay is energized when IN = 0V and off when IN = VCC.
