Hey All,
First time here and new to arduino. I am looking for guidance on a starter kit with a final goal of developing a rocket (hobby) launch controller. It will have inputs/outputs, touch screen and Hopefully connect (bluetooth) to smart phone for launch button.
I have a strong background in building automation but no experience in c++ programming. Always have a thirst for knowledge and figured this would be a good challenge.

Hello Jeff. Move to where?

All are fairly straight forward to implement. Pick one hardware type and jump in, add more hardware types as you go.

As to a starter kit - check out the kits at www.yourduino.com.
Not sure about the Bluetooth, might want to look at the modules adafruit.com offers.
