Has anyone else seen white lines running on top the text produced in the compiler message area at the bottom of the IDE screen? It seems to only affect the top portion of the compiler text generated and does not interfere with the error messages themselves.
Please post a screenshot of what you are seeing

Thanks. I have never seen anything like that in the IDE. It looks like a PC video hardware or driver problem
It only does it on the Arduino IDE so I not sure what is going on....
Linux and a nice video card?
Running Linux with onboard video graphics. The IDE is the only app I have ever witnessed this on.
I just finished coding on a Uno WiFi Rev2 that lasted for a couple hours. As soon as I switched to an ESP32 board to code the white lines reappeared on the compile status window.
Weird....
Does it depend on what board you have selected in the IDE or what hardware is actually connected?
It only does it when compiling the ESP32. But both boards were physically connected to their respective USB serial ports the entire time. Its odd that it seems software related instead of a hardware issue like flaky motherboard graphics.
Per se. It's Latin.
