Not able to connect to Arduino Board

Hello experts,

I bought new Arduino Uno board and when I connect via USB that it came with, I don't see this board in Arudino IDE, it says "Arduino Uno on COM6 not connected", what does this mean, do I have bad board or I am doing something wrong here?

In your IDE, verify:

  • IDE >> TOOLS >> PORT >> (your port)
  • IDE >> TOOLS >> BOARD >> Arduino AVR Boards >> (your board... Arduino UNO)
