You will have to change the hardware settings to your setup.
My setup uses a more standard connection (IO shield/Joystick shield).RF24 radio(9, 8 ); //CE, CSN pinsIIRC.
If you change your hardware setting to mine, there should be output at the tx station on failure.
The rx should print all ten seconds "10 seconds silence" on failure.
I also tried with my hardware setup RF radio(9,8) and the same happens. When I remove the CSN wire, the serial print shows something. If I connect it then...I wait and it prints what you said.
