Here is my pin configuration, it seems to differ slightly from what you posted initially, so thought it might be worth posting:

Mega:
48 (CE), 49 (CSN), 50 (MISO), 51 (MOSI), 52 (SCK)

RF24 radio(48,49);

Nano/Uno:

9 (CE), 10 (CSN), 11(MOSI), 12(MISO), 13(SCK)

RF24 radio(9,10);
