I also installed 10UF on nrf24l01 and it blew it - the plus minus correctly soldered.
as recommended for noise .. any ideas why ??
Only two possibilities.
Connected the wrong way around.
Dud capacitor.
OK, maybe three if you drive a 5V capacitor at 9V, but I don't think the nrf24l01 runs on that, does it?
actually it was a 1uf 250volts. connected correctly.. but I changed it to 10uf 6.3V seemed happy now.
perhaps bad cap as you say.
