NRF24L01 Stopped Working

So basically it is damaged, right? Considering that I am feeding from the 3.3 v from the arduino and I have fed the arduino with a battery for a while.

Here is my theory:

Considering that the amount of current drawn from the 3.3 v is multiplied by 2, I have been giving a excessive amount of current which after a while damaged the module and now it does not work.

Is it right?

PS. The battery is a 7.4 v 1300 mAh lipo
