I'm looking at an evaluation board (S32K142EVB) from NXP which uses a S32K142 ARM M4 device.

The datasheet states that "the S32K142EVB offers a standard-based form factor compatible with the Arduino® UNO pin layout"

Do I take that to mean that I can use the Arduino IDE (i.e there are custom packages to add to the IDE), or that the Arduino shields will be compatible with the EVB ?

Unless the datasheet says otherwise, I would say none of the above.
