Hi People,
I am newbie at this and would like to follow my project which I quote:
I have a car, Seat Ibiza TDI FR at 2002, and have more power that OEM, so i need to be more careful with the pressures, temperatures oil, air. I don't like gauges of boost pressure, oil temp, more and more because in my view are Tuning and the Police are very restrict in my country. I decided to buy a kit # 1 Arduino (http://obd.arduinodev.com/ ), show the information in a small display. The person who sold me this, say me this interface work's with ISO 9141-2, but this chip only works with Can-Bus, because in circuit board are a chip MCP2551.
Weel, so i have a Arduino Nano and a small display i decided to make an interface to communicate with the protocol of my car ISO 9141-2. Started the construction based on scheme [Port DB9, Resistance 510 OHM, Tension regulator 12V to 5V (LM7805) ]:
And the result:
And result of cable OBD to DB9, in ISO:

Forget the series resistance, as I have not found a single 510 Ohm, I decided to add 5 100 and 10 Ohm, the multimeter indicates 509 Ohm. (THIS IS ONLY FOR TESTING) smiley-wink
Well, here is the story how it started, now comes the worst part and where is my problem. The kit that i bought, in site (https://github.com/stanleyhuangyc/ArduinoOBD/tree/master/obdlogger) there is the libraries and source codes ready to works with interface with chip MCP2551. But, where is the codes to my interface? I found in Internet a source code that works with the scheme in the image above (Dropbox - Error - Simplify your life). But, i dont have the buttons and the lcd they used, it was a bit difficult for those who are ignorant of the subject of programming.
Hey guys, do you want help me?
I really apreciate your help and sorry for a long story smiley-sad
Regards and Thanks,
Bruno Pereira
