Please help me.
I'm a beginner attempting to learn the basics using the Arduino Base kit and my chromebook to run the web IDE.
For a few days all was working great and I was able to upload and modify sketches and learned a lot from them using the base kit.
But now my sketches will not download to my Uno!
** Uploading any sketch using the web IDE results in an Orange highlighted message saying [object Object] and no code is uploaded.**
HELP!

Hi @johnvansyckel .
This problem may be caused by your firewall or antivirus software.
Same problem is explained by below post.
The solution is to fix whatever the issue is preventing the Arduino Web Editor from communicating with the Internet. It might be blocked by either your firewall or antivirus software. Make sure the Arduino Web Editor plugin is whitelisted in your firewall. If that wasn't the problem, you could try TEMPORARILY disabling your antivirus for a single upload to see if the problem goes away, then turn the antivirus back on immediately. If the problem doesn't occur with the antivirus off you will need …
If you use antivirus software, could you stop it temporary and upload sketches?
Thank You for the insight.
From your comments it was clear that the problem was related to PC - Uno communication.
A double rest of the Uno cleared the problem by resetting the communication hangup.
