Odd tachometer behavior

Hi everyone,

I am back in Chapter 6, part 2 and I am seeing an issue that is stumping me. I have added the tachometer block to my model and I connected as instructed and hooked it up to my scope. The issue is that the value on the scope is still between a range of -1 and 1 and is not actual cycles/second. Has anyone seen this issue and found the problem? What is easiest for debugging models? I am so used to code! :slight_smile:

Have you tried pushing the tachometer in physically? The units of tachometer output is rpm. Try changing the Interrupt mode away from Rising and choosing others. Make sure the sample time is 0.1 and not something else.
