Hey Everyone!
I'm looking to make a smoke detector by using an off the shelf Ionization and Photoelectric chamber and to use an arduino to read the current/voltage changes. I've created the circuit necessary for this but am having trouble actually finding the detector chambers.
I've found a dodgy looking ionization chamber on Ebay from China but I can't find anything off the shelf in terms of a photoelectric smoke chamber. Do all smoke detector companies make their own enclosure that fits a IR sensor and LED, or am I just looking in the wrong places (Ebay, Digikey, Mouser)?
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
