although I do admit this is a gray area since it could prove to be useful... suggestion, read the descriptions of the forums, and politely ask around in the appropriate areas on how the community react to you offering your "random out of left field, who the heck are you" services
I'd much rather one polite ad in a workshop forum about CNC lasers than fifty spams about suspect deals on Nike shoes in twelve different forums.
I know Adafruit was offering laser-cutting services very early on, and is also one of the leading hobby-hack-electronics vendors. If anyone else is running a small PCB service, having a laser-cutter or engraver on-site is a great addition. I have used Pololu once, and the final product (cut acrylic) was far better than I expected.
