This is a royal pain... I am also having the problem of having a client and a server running in one sketch. I am not even trying to keep them both running at the same time. I use a client to pull what my status should be, and then the server to listen for any updates. I can get one or the other working fine, but not both.
If anyone has this working, please help me figure out how to do this or at least re-open the issue. I do not see where this is resolved. If it is, please clue me in as to how to work around this.
