Old software ( Imac OS X 10.6.8 ) not loading Arduino software for programing.

Hello / My old I-mac (OS-X 10.6.8) doesn't want to load the "Arduino" software . Is there an older version of "Arduino" I can load with this operating system?
I am new to this and just learning about the board.

I'm running Arduino on 10.6.8 and it works ok for me. What are the exact errors or problems you are seeing?
