Hi I am new and I have a problem. I am going crazy to make this work. I tried every library I could find. Checked all the connection many times. The screen does not turn on. I have 3 screens tried them all.
The screen is a AZ Delivery oled 1.3” SSH1106 i2c
I tried i2x scanners and the device is not found. Can they all be broken?

What are the other 4 wires in your 'photo connected to ?
Nothing they are 8 wires attached 4 connected and 4 free
Post an annotated schematic showing what you connected and how it is wired. Be sure to label everything including the processor and display with links to technical information on both.
I found that one of the cables was defective, the problem was not how it was wired but probably the wires themselves
Sorry I should have checked the wires (they were new)
