Oonie Island Walking Stick 911

The Walking Stick project does not perform as it should. Specifically, the buzzer sounds in constant repetition regardless of sensor distance. The Serial output shows the proper distance reading followed by a distance reading of zero. As distance is changed, the proper reading shows the correct distance but is then followed by a reading of zero.

I've confirmed the correct code and have replaced the Ultra Sonic Sensor with no effect.

What gives?

Thank you, Don
