Price did not seem to be a considerstion when they bought all the TEK scopes at work:
Well....... you know how it works ....
If a company makes a profit it has to pay tax on it. So if it's doing OK it decides it would rather have some fancy gear than feed the government.
Or
Departments have a budget, and if they don't spend it the management will cut that budget for next year.
Nice scopes though. I always liked LeCroys myself.
