openLog won't log any data

openLog SparkFun OpenLog - DEV-13712 - SparkFun Electronics

Anyone worked with openLog&Arduino Duemilanove?

From the site and other forums I looked at seems like you just connect and should log.. easily. However, it won't log any data. We doubled checked our connections. Not sure what to do next.. please help.

i just got a openlog a few weeks ago and i used the test code they have to test it and it worked for me, the only problem i had was the first time i connected the wires was i reversed the tx and rx wires :confused:

so i would double check the connections and use the test code they have and let us know if that works

Thanks a lot for reply! I will try this tomorrow when I get to work with the board. Hopefully this will work for me too, will let you know the results later!

I connected it as it was mentioned in the article and ran the sketch provided but it did not log anything.. the card was empty..

Have you tried connecting directly to it with an FTDI (swap Rx and Tx, of course)? Do you get an LED lighting on power up?

I dont have FDTI cable.. when OpenLog is powered the green led flashes couple times, and then the blue led stays on...

My blue light goes back off after a short period of being on and then flashes when I write to the OpenLog. Are you sure you have a properly formatted micro SD in there?

I formatted the sd card to the 16FAT..
