So I've been playing around with TFTs for a while, and something that's left me unsatisfied is the lack of free pins to use once the TFT is connected. It seems that most larger TFTs built for Megas somehow use ALL of its pins, which is beyond me. My final idea was to use a smaller TFT that does not plug in to all of the Mega's pins so I can use those pins for sensors and such, but to my dismay I can't get anything working. When I first ordered a TFT that claimed to support the Mega board, the touchscreen failed to operate so I brushed it off as a faulty TFT. The only ones I still have are OpenSmart 2.2" TFTs with the RM68130 driver IC. None of the examples I've tried have worked so I was wondering if anyone could help me get it up and running. Thanks!
