I’m lending a hand to a friend to help run an aquaponic greenhouse.
Different versions of Arduino Leonardo Eth + PoE will send the probe data (temperature, pressure, humidity, vibration) via MQTT to a broker installed on RaspPI.
Knowing that it will be very hot in the greenhouse in the summer, what can happen to the 6 arduinos enclosed in the IP65 watertight boxes?
Do you have experiences of this kind?
Could I alleviate the suffering by adding heat sinks to the ATmega32u4?
Thanks in advance,
If you’re getting heating problems (and you might want a sensor in the box to keep track of this), consider putting the Arduino to sleep when it’s not needed.
