Opinions for 3d Printer Board with Touchscreen Project

Hello
I´m currently planning my next project. In the past I worked with UNO / Megas with some Stepper Motor Drivers and Touchscreens running with the MCU lib. For the next one I want to use a 3d Printer Controlboard since it has all the ports I need(2x Stepper Motors, 5 Endstops and 1x Analog Output). I´ve got a MKS Gen L v1 with a Mega 2560 that works great with the Arduino IDE. So the next thing to choose would be a Touchscreen Display. I want to the whole project to be as much repeatable as possible.. Just buy the same Hardware, copy and paste the Code/ sketches and wire it up. I had a bit of struggle with the accuracy and orientation of the cheap no name Touchscreen Displays, so I want to go with some "brand" ones. There are a lot of Screens available (Bigtreetech, MKS, etc..) but i can´t find for none of them some basic examples to be sure they work with the board I have or are suitable for a Mega Board. I can only find a ton of Q&A about Marlin related Projects.
For anyone who is still reading, thank you  Long story short: The goal is to buy a Board with a touchscreen that was made for it, use some well documented and widely spread librarys that are easy to use(define some pins, get XY Touch Input- Do this).
So any Input, Links or recommendations are welcome.
