it is not about the NTP library but how Arduino mbed platform networking implements UDP sender and listener?
Indeed ! I didn't imagined this situation. But yes, it is possible !
But if it is the case, Arduino mbed opens one socket per sender and one socket per listener, 4 max. becomes very problematic
