Hello,
I'm guessing that the IOT Cloud team makes software updates at 4AM Pacific Time Zone. Many times I see devices on different WAN networks reboot at 4AM (Opta & Nano IOT 33 are the primary devices we use).
All devices (except one) reboot and then reconnect to the IOT Cloud. However, we have one Opta Lite device that fails to reconnect after these resets.
I recently flashed this Opta Lite about three days ago by removing the device from the Devices section of the IOT Cloud, then re-adding it. OTA was working fine, the device was operating normally. Then it went dark at 4AM this morning and has not reconnected.
This Opta is on it's own LAN and gateway, and communicates to a WiFi Opta on another LAN and gateway through the IOT Cloud.
Any ideas on how I can resolve this? I'm wondering if there are IP address conflicts or assignments that are created or lost during these resets? Maybe I need to assign a static IP from the network router?
Thank you,
Chris
