Il download, per tutte le piattaforme, è possibile da QUI , mentre le "release notes" che, misteriosamente, NON accompagnano il prodotto (almeno, nello zip per MAC non c'erano) si possono leggere QUI .

P.S. : Usa la versione FREE se ti basta 100 x 80 mm (più di un Arduino UNO), oppure, se devi fare stampati più grossi, per tuo uso PRIVATO, prendi la Hobbyist che costa 140€ e arriva a fare 160 x 100 mm a sei strati ! Se hai bisogno di più per LAVORO ... beh ... comprati una licenza commerciale !

Mi sono imbattuto in questa ultima notte in 6.5. Sto facendo un simbolo con più pad a terra.
Ho fatto le pastiglie ovali per le gambe a terra - come faccio a loro di connettersi a Gnd? Il mio piano ora è di sovrapporre il pad con fili di nome GND per farli collegare alla lavagna. C'è un modo più intelligente?

first, to be clear, I'm not a CadSoft member or an affiliate, but just a normal user 
Probably, for better (... and, for sure, more professional ) support, you can ask directly on the CadSoft support 
Anyway, if I understand well your question, you want to connect your pad connections to GND ...
... the fastest way that I know is that you also have indicated ... name them GND, add the GND layer and ... they will be connected to ground

The oval pads are made from 2 arcs and 2 straight lines, on the top & bottom layers.
I did not see an obvious way to Name them using Right-click, Properties, for example.
It is as if they are treated like a Rectangle, which cannot be named, vs a Polygon, which can be named.

Aha ... so you made yourself with just lines ... mmm ... I don't know, never tried ... but probably your solution to overlay them with a wire is the simplest idea
If I find a better solution, I will let you know, but, really, try to ask in the CadSoft forum ... there is really strong people

P.S. : have you tried to search for oval ? Maybe you find something ready that you can modify ... 
P.P.S : In the AdaFruit library there is a component with quite oval pads ... TO92-OVAL ... I don't know if can be useful for you to modify
I'll go with overlay and then Approve the eagle DRC errors, that seems simplest.
The pads need to be a specific size, I'm not going to spend time trying to adapt some other library.
You can select Long pads from the symbol editor, but that just makes a circle in an oval shaped pad, I need the opening to be oval shaped.

Si ma siccome sto facendo un amplificatore di potenza a BJT mi serviva un po più di spazio (lo porterò all esame l'anno prossimo) .
non metto in dubbio che se mai ci lavorerò (e lo spero) darò anche un rene per poter comprare eagle XD.
Per ora (e non me ne voglia a male la Farnell) faccio finta di usarlo come versione di prova.

Ho cercato in molte guide se era possibile dare il comando ad eagle di eseguire l'autoroute con piste più larghe di quelle predefinite. Sapresti dirmi se è possibile ?

Puoi definire lo spessore per ogni pista ... vacci sopra, chiedi le "Info" e vedrai che puoi cambiare lo spessore (questo dopo il routing) altrimenti, prima del routing, definisci lo spessore per il singolo net (... sono lontano dalla macchia di lavoro e vado a memoria, quindi ... cerca un po ... ma di certo la funzione c'è ... l'ho usata più volte)
