OTOduino connecting question.

Hey, I found this awesome Arduino project where you can control/monitor arduino via IPhone headphone jack:

Problem is with schematic, how to connect headphone jacks wires. Basically need only 3 wires? Left channel, GND and Microphone +? I know the GND but don't understand where to connect Left channel and mic. What those P$1-P$6 mean on the schematic?

I cracked open one headphone jack and find inside 5 wires(L, GND, R, M-, M+):

Can anyone point out witch wire and where I have to connect it?
Didin't find any projects of people using it also =(

Yes.

Left channel, GND and Microphone +?

Left channel (A0), GND and and Microphone+ (D13), yes.

What those P$1-P$6 mean on the schematic?

These are placeholders for the pins of the connector.
