Overclock Trigorilla 3D printer mainboard

Hi !

Does anyone already overclocked a Trigorilla mainboard (Anycubic Mega S 3D printer mainboard) ?

It's a quite slow cpu, and I would like to give him some punch to be able to handle slightly more detailed 3D models.

Could anyone confirm that the bootloader is the exact same as the Mega 2560 ?

I've already successfully overclocked Arduino Mega2560 to 22Mhz, and I've a working modified bootloader.

Am I right to think that this is the clock ? :

Any support appreciated

I suggest you post a link to the Schematic on the board you are talking about. You state: "It's a quite slow cpu", what CPU is it and slow is a relative term.

Hi !

I don't have them in fact, asked AC to provided them to me and no answer yet.

I don't think it's required, I've been able to determine that the bootloader is same as standard Mega 2560.

I found 24MHz ceramic resonator that will fit :

I'll have to adapt my custom 22.1184MHz bootloader to 24MHz

Hello. Do you have any articles or brochures about overclocking microcontrollers? Thank you.

Welcome! Yes I found a lot of them on overclocking but??? Temperature, Voltage, Instructions not working correctly etc. I will let you have the honor of deciding what you want to give up. Try searching for this "overclocking microcontroller".
