Hello folks,
As you can see in the attached picture, this is my owl robot. It turns left to right 180 degrees... I want the piezoelectric ultrasound to control the servo thus starting it only when the ultrasound sense motion! (Someone walking by etc). Optimal would be if it could follow my movements right to left etc., like a turning head!
Also adding a sound like "hoot hoot" would be great (triggered by the ultrasound) with some led lights flashing up in its body and/or the ground.
Would all this be possible and where can I find code to knit it all together?
Cheers!

There is no picture, but your description is good. I have a motion detector link still on my clipboard from my last post, so I'll post it here too. I think it might be easier to use than ultrasonics.
Here's an example of the servo being activated by the proximity of a human.
that sensor for the eyes will not tell you if someone moves left or right, up or down, just their distance.
you would need either two of these and then balance the outputs so they are about even. the obstruction being the sensed thing.
you could add two more, one on either side
then keep the center one reading the highest.

Hi,
So everyone can see;
Tom...
Hahaha! Now I see why the OP wanted to use a ping sensor.
