I just created a board (Device) and the owner field is wrong. That is my old domain, but I switched my cloud account to a gmail account. I can not find where to change this wrong owner field, anyone know?
New websites take time to populate the domain name servers.
It was changed at least weeks, if not months, ago. How long does it take? Also, my profile has the new; a device I added today has the old. Clearly, two different sources. Does anyone know the second?
24 hours.
Therefore, it's not a population issue since we are waaaaaaaay past 24 hours.
Maybe the host site did not publish the changed information... and if your two accounts are similar, verify they are treated differently (like they are owned by two different entities). I once had a web site taken down because the host botched their paperwork and sent a bill to the previous owner (who did not pay, of course, and contacted me, not too happy), even though I had been paying for over two years, so I contacted the host about their year-old data since I owned it... but since my recent payment were not matching as an owner, the host shut the site for non-payment... just saying, humans could be in the way of your account being live.
I think you are misunderstanding the situation. The host site is Arduino.cc I changed the account information re email a while ago. The following screen grab shows you the Owner ID and the account ID are different.
What I need to know is where do I change the 'Owner' ID?
I understand it. My story was: two people (1) owned the site (2) owns the site. Both still publish on the same host for customers. All submissions were satisfied. A human got in the way by assuming and using old data. I found the human to resolve the situation (then found another host).
Ok, interesting, but nothing to do with my situation.
Hi @sonofcy. Do you also see the outdated rvishome.com
domain email address at the top left corner of the page?:
No, you can see it's a gmail (correct) in post #7
Ah, sorry I missed that.
I have notified the Arduino Cloud developers of your report. I'll let you know if I receive any news from them regarding a resolution.
