oxygen sensor

Hi,

I want to measure the speed of a diffusion for an gas through a material. I would like to build a two-chamber system and the material as a separation layer. On the one side should be oxygen (or something else) and on the other side helium. Now I want to measure the thermal conductivity of helium to analyse the diffusion time.

I have thought of something like this:

However, this sensor is only for the measurement of liquids.
Which sensor could use for this?

There are a lot of oxygen sensors on automobiles, but I have no idea if they'll do what you want. eBay has plenty for sale, starting at about $15.00 or so.
