P2P communication 2 ESP8266 programming by arduino IDE

Hi Guys,

I am new to this esp8266 and need some help to run a quick test if this module is of use to me.
The esp8266 I am using is from digikey partnumber 1568-1235-ND (most common module)

What I like to test is:

  • One esp6288 with push button on the gpio2

  • Second esp8266 with external led on gpio2

  • both powered by ftdi-board and usb cable to the pc

  • Direct communication between these two esp8266 by wifi (without using Arduino, raspberry or so)

  • when the pushbutton is pushed, the led on the other esp8266 should light up
    (if possible also output (print) to PC-screen by the ftdi connection)

Is any one aware of these codes and willing to supply me the code 'server' and 'client' unit? I like to program the modules using the Arduino IDE

This is exactly the same question that I have.

Did you figure it out? I'd hate to buy 2 Esp8266's if they can't.
