My tf mini connector broke. I see some red part underneath the pads.. does it mean it cannot be soldered back onto the board, can I just glue them back or something. One pad has unsoldered I could solder back but not sure what to do with those that broke.
You can carefully try to scratch off some of the resin on the cirquit board in order to access the lanes you broke. Sometimes you find convenient contacts on the other side or by following the lanes and see where they end up.
@finefin already gave a good answer, but I just wanted to clarify that I don't see any benefit to gluing the torn pads back on. You'll still need to make the broken connections again by soldering. However, the pads on either side of the connector are purely mechanical, to hold the connector to the PCB, so that functionality could be restored with glue.
