Paid gig - want to make a wireless switch (up to 3x DPDT type)...wireless

Hello -

Forgive me if my description is a bit ham-fisted, I am an utter novice at this sort of development. That said...

I'm a musician, and a few of my amps have footswitches. Most amount to between 1 and 3 DPDT switches. Most commonly, footswitches are passive and connection to the amp is via 1/4" TRS or TS cable, or simple RCA connector. Googling "amp footswitch" pulls up schematics and images of what I'm talking about. I cannot read schematics, but my understanding is that the switch in the amplifier is activated by shorting a circuit, thereby engaging an effect.

What I'd like to do is make the footswitch wireless. Naturally this would require a transmitter (with footswitch) and receiver. Power (9v, via battery jack and/or barrel connector) would be available at both ends. Actuation of the switch would need to be perceptibly instantaneous. Other requirements would be range (reliable up to 50 feet, not restricted to line of sight), LEDs to indicate status of each switch, and freedom from interference (via pairing or hardware coding like DIP switches).

Basically, just like a wireless fan remote or garage door opener, but piled into a little metal stompbox and reliable enough for live performance.

I'd like to collaborate/hire to get a working proto built. Was working with a guy at the office who builds all sorts of gadgets, but he's strapped for time and cannot continue. Would like to get this done in the short term, provided cost isn't prohibitive.

Thank you for reading this post, please PM if you're interested.
