Paid tutor wanted

I am an elementary art teacher designing a game for our students, involving a timed mousebot inside a 2' x 3' rectangle. Being a photovore, we need lights moving from above with a stepper motor. The bot is complete but the stepper controller is still a problem, even though this forum has been a great help. The project must be complete by May so there is little time to experiment. I need a simple diagram of
Arduino wired to an L298 for unipolar stepper control. I could deposit $25 in a PayPal account for each drawing. I am not looking for anything sophisticated. A hand drawn .jpg would suffice.

does this help?

edit: replaced L293 diagram with L298 diagram
note that you may need resistors on the Sense pins 1 & 15.

That is great! I am serious about the payment if you would accept it. The schematic is worth a lot to me. Thanks again.

Since changing career from CTO with a high tech company to author of a book that will take me much of this year to finish, I am happy to accept offers of money

Here is the diagram showing sense resistors mad by conencting two 1 ohm resistors in parallel.

Man! Missed $25 bucks by a day!
The schematic posted by mem looks good. However 2 possible issues:

  1. Do not forget diodes across each coil of the stepper to avoid voltage spikes.

  2. The spec sheet also recommends a 100nF capacitor from pin 9 (Vss) to ground.

Follow the link for an example sketch to drive L298 from 4 Arduino pins (in this case 3,4,5,6)
