Paper Thin Switch

For my project, I need a paper thin switch with cables attached which are also preferably paper thin. Regular Tactile Button switches are too big for my purpose.
Does such a thing exist?

Have you looked at SMD parts?
The 4mm pad spaced SMD tactile switch here is pretty thin.
Otherwise, maybe a force sensitive resistor pad - look at sparkfun.com

force sensitive resistor pad is exactly the size and shape I am looking for but can I get a simple switch instead in same shape/size?

What I am trying to achieve is to have the user touch/hold on to the switch/pad to complete the circuit. I have approx 3Volts in circuits.

How thick can it be?

Hi,
You are looking for a membrane press button, usually they are custom made, but you might be lucky if you Gargle.
They are only good for low voltage/current switching

Tom....

Why not use that then?

Paper is about 0.1mm to 0.15mm thick, BTW

These membrane switches, 0.8mm thick, are available from several eBay suppliers:

Consider having a touch switch, for example by using:

or a dedicated IC such as:

Thanks for pointing in the right direction. Membrane switch seem to be the solution.
