Paralleling Switching type Voltage Regulators

Hey Guys,

I have a couple of LM2678 (3.3V Version) which I use to charge my 60Ah Battery (which requires 3.3V).

It takes a huge time of approximately 12 hours to charge up from 0 to full.

So, can I parallel 4 of these LM2678s to get a 20A output and hence decrease my charge time?

What sort of battery is it.

Looking at the data sheet it is not possible to parallel output them as they each have their own independent regulation circuit.

It is a Lithium-Ion Battery. Manufactured by A123 Systems

Oh. Google told me that. So I chose a different IC (TPS40131)

Now the 2nd page of the datasheet has a simplified application diagram. How do I implement this i.e. how do I determine the value of all those components to suit my needs?
