parola matrix does not know it all

I am trying to change the Parola_scrolling_ESP8266 script example, to contain more options for scrolling.
Without changing in the script, except in the setup, we have a 6.th line saying:

P.displayScroll(curMessage, PA_LEFT, scrollEffect, frameDelay);

when PA_LEFT is changed as the only thing, for example to PA_OPENING_CURSOR, the answere is:
No matching function for call to 'MD_Parola::displayScroll(char [512], textEffect_t, textEffect_t&, uint8_t&)'

Is it so, that this MD_Parola.h lib, is not made for this going into void setup section?

In the script parola_zone_mirror_animations, we have all the scrolleffectanimations the lib can provide, and they are working there. There is no difference in the choice of libs from the one to the other script.

when PA_LEFT is changed as the only thing, for example to PA_OPENING_CURSOR,

The valid choices for this field are PA_LEFT, PA_RIGHT, PA_CENTER as it defines the justification for the text. The choice of text effect goes where the variable scrollEffect is located.

No matching function for call to 'MD_Parola::displayScroll(char [512], textEffect_t, textEffect_t&, uint8_t&)'

This means that your use of the method does not match any of the class prototypes because you have used the wrong parameter types, as explained above.

I would encourage you to read the library documentation that is installed in the docs folder of the library.
