I'm putting together an Ardunio learning plan, and the book I'll be using is Beginning Arudino by Michael McRoberts, and I'll be putting in a Uno, and a bread board, and then I would like to buy the rest of the parts to complete all of the projects in book. In reading through the book there is no sort table or appendix of parts required that I can just start getting them. I've checked the publishers website and was able to get the code, but without getting all the parts I have to go through every project and compile a list and then go out and buy them.
I'm curious if anyone knows if there is already a list or pdf of a list that I can use when ordering the parts.
I am trying to teach a summer course about robotics and I decided to use arduino uno but I have the same problem. I don't know what do the students need to buy.
Can soem one help me.
Thank you.

Hi, I am reading this book also. Found it frustrating to not have a good parts list so I built one. Went through the book and tried to identify the required parts for each project. I then went and priced them (US stores and currency). I also looked up the contents of several arduino starter kits and did a comparison. Filter the spreadsheet by store column to see the results. Very interesting
Thank you, I was looking for this. I am glad this document is still available. I wish there was something in a Mouser, Element14 (as other author did) or any other website to facilitate for completely rookers avoid buying the wrong piece but this is a great start!
