Pascal again

I've been looking at the avr-gcc sources, and missed a Pascal frontend. As such a frontend exists for gcc, what's the chance to make it work with avr-gcc?

Concrete questions:
What's the recommended environment to build avr-gcc on Windows?
Where can I find more information about writing gcc frontends?
Where can I find more about the avr modifications, that may have to be reflected in a frontend?

Finally: is somebody else interested in adding a Pascal frontend to avr-gcc? Willing/able to assist me?

The Arduino folks just went through the process of building a Windows native version of avr-gcc. A good place to start is here...
https://groups.google.com/a/arduino.cc/forum/#!forum/developers

As an open source project the Arduino folks are expected to provide the necessary scripts / instructions to build the software. Now that they are building avr-gcc there is high probability everything needed is on their Github site.

Can't help with the rest.
