After completing its 8000 steps, I can rotate the encoder several times in one direction, causing the stepper to initiate another 8000-step movement in the opposite direction. However, if the stepper halts once more, I encounter a limitation: it becomes impossible to prompt the stepper to resume its movement in the original direction.
