I want to build an arduino-based robot, and this is supposed to be controlled from laptop by four buttons(right, left, back, front) through serial. I don't want to send commands with serial monitor, so, I want to build my own application which contains four graphical buttons. How can I do this? Is Labview a good option?
You should be able to do what you want with whatever PC programming language you are familiar with.
It would be quite complicated to learn a programming language. I want a easier method. Like drag and drop some blocks to make such an application. A graphical programming is what i need.
If your writing software to run on the Arduino you are learning a programming language- get on with it!
It's fairly easy to write this kind of program with C#, try it

There is "Scratch4Arduino" that might be what you are looking for.
I was a kickstarter funder for ModKit which uses Scratch-like interface, but also shows the code. It doesn't seem to have been updated much though.
